What is difference between XG-PON and XGS-PON?
XG-PON supports 10 Gigabit passive optical networks and provides asymmetric 10G transmission (maximum downstream line rate: 9.953 Gbit/s, maximum upstream line rate: 2.488 Gbit/s).
XGS-PON is a symmetrical passive optical network that supports 10 Gigabit, providing symmetrical 10G transmission (maximum downstream line rate: 9.953 Gbit/s, maximum upstream line rate: 9.953 Gbit/s).

The only one difference of XGPON VS XGSPON is upstream data rate, XG PON is 2.488Gbps and XGS PON is 9.953Gbps.
