Can 10G SFP XFP optical tranceiver reach 120km?
The answer is NOT. Because sensitivity can not make up to -26dBm, and the output optical power maximus is fixed. So the optical budget is limited. In fact, the max transmission distance is 100km. If the fiber cable loss much each kilometer, then it just can reach up to 80km.
