USource fiber optic bypass switch is an industrial ring network switch product with Bypass optical bypass protection function. It can protect the optical fiber network from the impact of power system failure, automatically isolate power outage nodes, and achieve dual protection against power outage and fiber breakage. In Normal operating mode, Ethernet packets are forwarded between two remote fiber switches and the local fiber switch. In Bypass operating mode, Ethernet data packets can be forwarded between two remote fiber switches, bypassing the local fiber switch.
Connection diagram
When the Bypass module is powered on, 1-4 is connected and 2-3 is connected. The three switches are equivalent to normal connections.
When power failure occurs, 1-3 is connected, the device bypasses the local inactive switch and forwards data traffic to the next node, ensuring stable transmissions for critical industrial networks.

Special Note:
1. The Bypass device and the switch share a common power supply;
2. Bypass devices can exist in cascade or ring network environments;
3. Bypass equipment is a power-off protection device. The optical fiber can only be switched when the equipment is powered off.
