1 Silicon Photonics can help 1U switch achieveing 51.2T by using co-packeging optics technology. The co-packeging optics consists of 16 units, each unit can do 3.2T of transmission and receiving. One unit has 8 lanes Tx and 8 lanes Rx.
2 For line side, by using Silicon Photonics, we can make 400G QSFP-DD ZR/ZR+ DCO optical transceivers, which can transmit 80km-120km, not need the optical amplifier.
3 For client side, by using Silicon Photonics, we can make 400G, even 800G optical transceviers.
